At Avid Product Development, we streamline the process of turning your innovative ideas into tangible products. Our online quoting tool is designed for rapid prototyping and on-demand production, offering cost-effective pricing and expert analysis.
Ordering custom 3D printed parts is quick and easy. First, create an account or log in to your existing account, and follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Upload Your 3D Models
Upload your files. You can upload up to 120 files (max 50 MB each).
Units: We prefer files uploaded in millimeters. The function we have to check for thin walls on parts does not support parts uploaded in inches.
Step 2: Configure Your Parts
Choose technology, material, quantity, production speed, and any additional services such as surface finishing or assembly.
If no service is selected, parts will default to Standard Natural.
Step 3: Checkout
Need a copy? Click “Save Quote” in your cart to instantly download a PDF.
Ready to order? Hit “Checkout”, then enter your billing and shipping details, choose a payment method, agree to our Terms & Conditions, and place your order!
If you would like to set up terms, please reach out to sales@avidpd.com.
If you are already on terms and paying by PO, the shipping cost may vary but will not exceed selected values. We will compare and select the cheapest option.
If you are providing your own shipping account number and do not provide a shipping speed, we will default to shipping ground.

Reduce material, weight, cost and minimize the risk of warping or deformation by hollowing your models. Any section thicker than ~15 mm (0.6 inches) should be considered for hollowing.
This process will trap unfused powder inside the hollowed part during printing, the powder becomes enclosed and remains there unless intentionally removed. Holes for powder removal can be added but are not required. Please reach out if you would like more information on lightweighting.
No problem—just select the “Other” option during the quote process and leave us a note describing what you’re looking for. Our team will review your request and follow up with more information or a custom solution.
If you would like us to check out your quote for any reason, add “Review Quote” to your services. This will trigger a manual review so we can take a closer look before you commit to your order.
Our hollowing and lightweighting service reduces material usage, cost, and the risk of warping.
Note: Powder will remain inside hollowed parts unless removal holes are added.
Yes, but note that the latest production time among your selections will apply to the entire order. For faster delivery on select parts, please place a separate order.
