Background:
I moved to Northern Colorado from Austin, TX in 2016. It’s been incredible getting to live on the Front Range and explore all that Colorado has to offer! I have extensive experience in customer service, and just completed my degree in Psychology. Before Avid, I have done a little bit of everything, from managing cafes, to helping around the labor and delivery unit as a surgical/OB technician, to cleaning up hoards. I enjoy working with and helping a diverse range of people, and getting to continue doing so in a whole new way at Avid.
What’s your secret ambition?
I’d like to hop around the world. To be able to spend enough time in places to immerse myself in different cultures and learn through my experiences.
If you were a brand, what would be your motto?
“Love people and use things, because the opposite never works.”
What’s your favorite 90s jam?
Even Flow by Pearl Jam or Zombie by The Cranberries, depending on my mood.
What do you love about working at Avid?
I’ve loved getting to know everyone, both coworkers and clients, and have felt really welcomed by the community. It’s also amazing getting to learn about this world of business, prototyping, and additive manufacturing!
What’s the best engineer (or inventor) joke you’ve heard?
What’s the difference between a stepping stool and a miniature 3D printer?
The former is a little ladder and the latter is a little former.
